Is the NBA going to have a Nike problem?
In its first year (and first game) as the NBA jersey supplier, the sportswear giant has had a shocker!
The biggest name in the sport is playing the game, representing his brand, but doing this wearing a ripped jersey. This isn’t the first instance of this happening either, with some jerseys ripping in pre-season, there have been calls for Nike to investigate the potential issue of poorly made unis.
There was a lot of hostility towards Adidas in regards to some of the decisions they made towards the end of their deal, with sleeved jerseys and dodgy designs dominating the conversations…at least it wasn’t easy to tear their threads though!
However, Nike have got off to a rocky start, with a strange ‘flap’ and now this, ripping jerseys.
