Isaiah Thomas is set to make his season debut for the Cleveland Cavaliers TONIGHT in a match up against the Portland Trail Blazers. announced Monday that All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas will make his long-awaited debut with the team on Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The announcement was made by the team on Monday after the All-Star guard missed the first 36 games of the regular season due to a hip injury.
In what will be his first game since the blockbuster trade of the summer that sent Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics, Thomas will not have an easy ride, he'll be faced with Damian Lillard, a man who is permanently on a mission to prove he's one of the best in the NBA.
After suffering from a re-aggravation of a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear in Game 2 of last year's Eastern Conference Finals, Thomas will be on limited minutes until his conditioning is back on par with that of an All-Star.
