It doesn’t happen very often, but sometimes, the King is challenged at the rim.
The other week, we all saw Brooklyn Nets centre Jarrett Allen challenge LeBron at the hoop and achieved a feat only a handful of guys have done before him.
What might be the biggest moment in Allen’s career to date, ultimately, meant nothing to LeBron, with the Lakers superstar telling ESPN’s Ian Begley: “He’s in his 20s; I’m in my 30s, it takes me a little longer to get warmed up. But that’s fine. I mean, you’re a shot-blocked. You should, you can, get a block. It happens. It’s probably all over social media, so that’s cool.”
He was right, NBA twitter was flooded with videos of the 7’6 wingspan rejecting one of the greatest to play the game.
And while Allen may never get any accolades of his own, he has been added to the list of 9 people to block one of LeBron James’ dunks, and here is that list of blockers who have got the best of LeBron.
